From November 3rd to 4th, 2023, the 3rd Carbon Neutrality Boao Conference, jointly sponsored by the China Energy Conservation Association and the China Quality Certification Center, was successfully convened in Boao, Hainan. Mr. Ma Peihua, Vice Chairman of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended the event and delivered a keynote address. On behalf of the group, Mr. Wang Jun, Senior Vice President, attended the conference and received a prestigious award. 

The conference acknowledged companies that achieved remarkable accomplishments in the field of carbon neutrality for the year. Notably, Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Huayou Recycling Technology Co., Ltd., and Chengdu B&M Science and Technology Co., Ltd., secured their place on the list, earning the coveted title of "Most Promising Enterprises in the Carbon Neutrality Field".

In 2022, our company made its debut at the Carbon Neutrality Boao Conference and introduced the Carbon Neutrality Action Report of Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd.. As a responsible enterprise in the lithium-ion new energy materials sector, we took advantages of our integrated industrial chain to launch a trilogy of initiatives: carbon reduction, carbon mitigation, and low-carbon projects based on the dual carbon goals. These actions encompassed eight key strategies for carbon neutrality, with the overarching objective of reducing carbon emissions across all our business segments and diminishing the carbon footprint throughout our entire value chain. Our ultimate mission is to achieve comprehensive carbon neutrality across the value chain, create value for our customers, and lead the industry toward a trajectory of high-quality and sustainable development. 

In recent years, our company has fervently laid the groundwork for new industrialization through eco-friendly manufacturing practices, accelerating the realization of our "dual-carbon" development blueprint. We steadfastly adhere to the green development strategy encapsulated by "Two Clusters and Two Bases", and "Six Transformations", thus aligning with the national call for "dual carbon". We continue to pioneer green development, shaping an integrated, low-carbon industry chain spanning the complete lifecycle: nickel-cobalt-lithium raw materials→refining→precursor products→ternary cathode products→recycling". Our unwavering commitment is to lead as an industry frontrunner, a green, zero-carbon producer of new energy materials, fostering value for our customers, and propelling the evolution of the new energy lithium-ion materials sector while accelerating our industry's zero-carbon transition. From adhering to clean production to green manufacturing, from focusing on energy conservation and emissions reduction to establishing zero-carbon factories, we have fortified our supply chain's responsibility management, constructed a robust ESG management system, and driven green development in the context of the "dual-carbon". Multiple products have earned a place on the national list of green design products, and several of our factories have been recognized at both national and provincial levels for their efforts in green supply chain management, green low-carbon factories, and their status as green manufacturing exemplars. This has markedly enhanced our sustainable development capabilities. 

The Carbon Neutrality Boao Conference, regarded as one of China's most influential dual-carbon platforms, is a preeminent summit in the domain of "carbon neutrality". It represents the culmination of years of industry experience harnessed by the Carbon Neutrality Committee of the China Energy Conservation Association. The event seamlessly integrates top-tier resources from government, industry, experts, enterprises, and media. With the theme of "Carbon Neutrality in the New Era: Opportunities, Development, and Coexistence", the conference has attracted prominent figures from politics, business, production, academia, and research, who collectively deliberated on the strategies and pathways for realizing dual-carbon objectives in the current phase.
